Summary

This is the system settings menu for Freemed-YiRC. Only the root user has permission to access this menu.

Important Note

If any of the form items are changed on this menu, those changes will NOT be saved unless the Update button is clicked at the bottom of this menu! If you start to change any options, then click one of the links which takes you to another page BEFORE you press the Update button, those changes will NOT be saved!

Menu Sections

Company Info

This section contains standard contact information for a given agency. To edit this information, click the Modify link.

Time

This section contains options for representing time. There is an option for entering the separation character (typically a colon (":")). There are two options for the format itself, one for displaying time in standard 12-hour AM/PM format, and one for military-style 24-hour format. Any change here will not be made until the Update button at the bottom of this menu is pressed.

Date

This section contains options for representing dates. There is an option for entering the separation character (typically a forward slash ("/")) There are three options here for choosing the date format itself. Any change here will not be made until the Update button at the bottom of this menu is pressed.

Help

This section sets what happens when a user clicks on the help icon () in the upper-right hand corner of any given Freemed-YiRC menu page. There is an option to enter the URL to the Freemed-YiRC help wiki. This should not be changed unless an alternate help site is needed. Any change here will not be made until the Update button at the bottom of this menu is pressed.

Addresses

This section sets the standard format for physical street mailing addresses. One can be selected from the drop-down. Any change here will not be made until the Update button at the bottom of this menu is pressed. In addition, a link is provided to see the full list and specifics of all address formats.

Module Manager

This section provides a link to the Freemed-YiRC Module Manager. This is where individual modules can be enabled/disabled, as well as module-specific settings can be accessed.

Database Administration

This section provides a link to several useful utilities/reports for the Freemed-YiRC system administrator.

County List

This section provides a link to the County List for use in the USA for agencies to choose which states counties show up on county drop-down list.

Timecard Switchover

This section is where the weekly cut-over is defined for timecard pay periods. Some agencies define a week as starting at Sunday at midnight or Monday at midnight. Others may have different schedules depending on their shifts. This Day & Time defines the START of a work week. Any change here will not be made until the Update button at the bottom of this menu is pressed.

Fiscal Year

This section defines the start and end of the agency's fiscal year. This is useful for accounting purposes. Any change here will not be made until the Update button at the bottom of this menu is pressed.
